AI turns the concept into a production-ready shot plan.

AI Director interprets a plain-language concept, decides how to structure it into scenes and shots, proposes framing and camera movement, adds performance direction, identifies the source material each effect will need, and carries those decisions into capture and post-production.

  • 01Break a concept into a production-ready shot sequence.
  • 02See what should be recorded practically and what can be created later.
  • 03Carry the creative intent into capture, effects and editing.

Shot 04 · push-in close-up

Record 6–8 seconds · lock exposure · leave clean background edges for the replacement pass.

Ready to shoot

AI analyzes the footage and executes the generation workflow around it.

NematiCut reads the shot first, identifies subjects, motion, depth, lighting and scene structure, then decomposes the requested change into effect tasks and routes each task through the suitable AI workflow. From there it can execute transformations, generate new material, composite results back into the shot and keep the source, masks, versions and edit context attached while it creates the transformation.

  • 01Understand camera motion, subjects and scene structure.
  • 02Generate replacements, environment changes, inserts and effect variations while preserving the source shot.
  • 03Keep masks, versions and repair passes attached to the timeline.

AI evaluates its own output and triggers targeted repair before approval.

NematiCut can inspect generated video for weak frames, identity drift, broken edges, lighting mismatch, temporal instability and motion errors. When it finds a localized problem, the AI can send that region or time range through the relevant repair workflow while keeping the original result available for comparison.

01

Inspect the result

Compare the generated shot against the source, continuity references and intended creative direction.

02

Locate the failure

Identify the affected region or time range instead of regenerating an entire shot blindly.

03

Repair selectively

Re-run the relevant effect, identity, edge, lighting or motion pass and keep both versions available.

04

Return to edit

Place the approved result back into the sequence with its source and revision history intact.

AI keeps context across planning, footage, VFX, continuity and finishing.

Project context gives the AI the same understanding of the scene across planning, capture, effects, identity, revisions and finishing, allowing each workspace to act on the same creative intent and source history.

Identity & continuity

Keep a person, wardrobe, prop and visual treatment consistent across separately generated or edited shots.

Editable finishing

Timeline assembly, sound, color matching, captions and export controls remain available after AI processing.

Action and environment work

Extend locations, create inserts and transform motion-heavy footage while preserving the sequence structure.

AI automates the production work while the creator controls the creative decisions.

NematiCut can handle the technical execution of the workflow, surface alternatives and repair weak results, while the creator can review versions, change direction, open advanced controls and approve what enters the final sequence.

01

Creative intent stays readable

Each shot keeps the description, reference material, source footage, chosen effect and revision state together.

02

Advanced controls stay available

Creators can open timeline, masks, alternatives, effect settings, continuity references and finishing controls when needed.

03

Final output stays traceable

Exports are tied back to the project sequence and the source decisions used to create them.

The AI works at project level, with context from the whole shot and sequence.

NematiCut Studio keeps a persistent AI understanding of what you intend to create, what you recorded, which elements must remain stable, what can change, how subjects should stay consistent, and where each result belongs in the edit. That project-level context lets the Director, Capture, VFX, Continuity and Editor workspaces operate as one coordinated AI filmmaking system.

Before the shoot

Translate an idea into production decisions.

Describe the scene in ordinary language. NematiCut can turn that brief into scenes, shots, framing notes, camera movement, timing, performance direction and a list of source material the effect workflow will need.

During capture

Record footage that can survive the effect.

Capture Coach carries the plan onto the phone or camera. It can remind the creator about subject position, clean background edges, movement, duration, repeatability and continuity before the set is packed away.

In post

Transform, inspect, repair and finish.

The VFX workspace analyzes the source, builds effect options, preserves important motion and identity cues, evaluates weak regions, sends those regions through repair passes and returns approved versions to an editable timeline.

Start with an idea, existing footage or an edit that is already underway.

NematiCut is designed for different starting points. A creator can begin with a sentence such as “a cyclist rides through a quiet street before the environment transforms into a flooded futuristic city,” then let AI Director turn that idea into a practical sequence. Another creator can upload footage they already shot and ask the studio to understand the scene before changing anything.

The same project can also contain references, previous versions, identity material, timing decisions and an existing rough cut. The goal is to avoid forcing a creator to repeatedly explain the same scene to separate tools every time the workflow moves from planning to effects or from effects to editing.

The project is the source of truth.

Shot intent, source media, generated versions, masks, repair history, continuity references and timeline placement remain associated with the same shot instead of becoming disconnected files.

A single instruction becomes an AI-orchestrated production plan.

NematiCut interprets the request, reads the source and surrounding project context, decomposes the change into technical tasks, routes those tasks through the required AI processes, evaluates the outputs, repairs failures and returns an approved version to the edit.

Example: “Turn this actor into a battle-damaged android as the room breaks apart.”

The request is interpreted together with the source shot, existing identity references, camera movement and the surrounding shots in the sequence.

Understand

Read the shot and the instruction.

NematiCut identifies the performer, visible body regions, foreground objects, camera motion, lighting direction and the parts of the environment that should remain stable.

Plan

Separate the work into effect tasks.

The transformation can be broken into character appearance, surface damage, environmental destruction, debris, lighting integration and continuity requirements instead of treating everything as one vague prompt.

Generate

Create alternatives without destroying the source.

Effect passes are generated as versions attached to the original shot. The creator can compare them, change the direction, preserve the performer’s motion or reduce how aggressively the scene is transformed.

Evaluate

Check the result before it becomes the final shot.

The system can inspect identity drift, unstable edges, lighting mismatch, temporal flicker and regions that no longer agree with the source motion or neighboring frames.

Repair

Fix the affected region instead of blindly starting again.

When a localized failure is found, NematiCut can send that region or time range back through the relevant repair process while keeping stronger parts of the existing result.

Finish

Return the approved shot to the edit.

The chosen version remains connected to its source and revisions, then moves into the timeline for timing, sound, color matching, captions and export.

AI orchestrates the tools and production decisions behind every shot.

NematiCut accepts creative direction in normal language, converts it into a detailed internal production brief, selects the required analysis and generation tasks, routes them through the appropriate AI workflows and keeps the results connected to the project state.

Creative interpretation

The studio turns natural-language direction into a more detailed internal brief that describes the subject, environment, motion, timing, continuity and visual change required by the shot.

Source analysis

Uploaded or newly captured footage is inspected for subjects, camera behavior, scene layout, motion, lighting, usable duration and other information that affects how an effect should be executed.

Task routing

A single scene may require different kinds of generation, tracking, masking, image processing, video synthesis or repair. NematiCut can break the request into those tasks and route them through the suitable workflow while presenting one coherent project to the creator.

Revision memory

When the creator asks for a change, the system can work from the existing shot state, approved identity, source footage and prior versions instead of treating the revision as a completely new prompt.

Editable output

The generated result is still part of an editing project. Timing, version selection, repair decisions, audio, captions and finishing controls remain accessible after the AI pass is complete.

NematiCut does not stop at planning. The AI executes generation, compositing, editing and finishing too.

Once the brief and source material are in place, the system can generate transformed shots, build new visual elements, replace environments or subjects, return approved results to the timeline and keep the entire process editable.

Illustrative VFX scene

From practical plate to finished effects shot

AI can analyze a captured setup, plan the effect pass, generate the transformed version and keep the result connected to the rest of the project.

Guide what to shoot

NematiCut can decide what clean source material the later VFX pass will need.

Finishing

AI carries the shot into the edit

Approved generations remain attached to the edit, color and finishing process instead of being left as loose exports.

The point of NematiCut Studio is end-to-end execution. It can help direct the shoot, but it is also designed to execute the video generation and VFX work itself, assist the edit, prepare alternates, and carry the project through to a deliverable result.

What the AI handles across the production.
